I’m going to test drive the GF today on my amps!! I can’t wait!
The Fuzz on this is surprisingly good! more like a good overdrive that keeps the harmonics much better, and I’m going to top it with the BMPiTW…

for the clips, go to the link below, it’s all in my soundclick player for stream only, sorry.

but it’s recordable…if you find how, you deserve it…haha!

now with graphic fuzz, obviously used but 100% functional.

I removed the LPB-1, to get a cleaner clean.

Yeah, but I hope somebody from EHX can reply here and answer many people at the same time.

It would be good to specify the exact current consumption of every pedal so we know how much we can daisy chain on a single power adapter or on which output it can be use for a Voodoo Lab PP2+ or other.

Boss does it and it’s something really useful.

    thanks

im feelin like im not gettin the right tone (treble/bass) out of my bmptw, but of course maybe its the 1 amp im very limited to.

    I don’t want to go off-topic but

try to set your amp at the sound you like 1st and then the BMPi…

I start to have the same feeling, I’m looking for a used XO graphic fuzz to try with the BMPi TW (tone off)…to get the best out of it.

Or I might go with an Fuzz/Overdrive or Dist/Overdrive later…I’ve heard so many good OD lately that complements a tube amp a bit better…anyways. for the price it’s still good because the one I’m looking for are twice the price…

mmm, no other reports of this that I know of…..have you put any other new pedals in your chain recently?

I’ve found sometimes one will affect the other.

I’ve tried my BMPi w TW alone and it’s lower than before.

I just got the Cathedral that’s at the end of the chain.

It actually gives a boost to my left and right chains so it equal everything up but if I turn it off, the BMPi TW becomes a few dB lower than the BassBMPi that stays the same?

it also go true a Hoax and a DMM before going into the Cathedral Right input, the BassBMPi goes straight to the Cathedral Left input.

For know I’ve been testing on computer music software so it’s easy to see the dropped signal.
But I keep the Cathedral on at all time so it kind of fix the issue this way…

The forum is cropping the picture so here’s the link to my pedalboard schematic:

thats exactly what i do, and it makes everything sound sooooo much better! ;)

haha, I agree, it’s just that when I described this to people they tend to think I’m crazy…lol!

updated again! the PP2+ is fully loaded now.

I will need to move on to a pedaltrain Pro before I get the POG2. A Soul Preacher would fit.
And I’ll have to daisy chain my digital pedal with the aux AC output and the TU-2…or get another PP2+!

hey thanks. I’m glad you like it.

here’s another one in the same setting but with the infinite reverb engaged…

    http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8330661

the solo over it is a bit too dry imo because to lower the infinite layer you have to lower the blend level of the cathedral. I would have to record it alone and paly over it afterward to get a reverbed solo. But that’s what you can do in a live situation.

In this one I manage to keep more reverb with the blend and with the DMM and the Hoax…

    http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8334997

with the DMM and Hoax for the solo over it to keep a kind of reverb…

I did it really fast because I had to leave for work…but I didn’t want to…haha.

    thanks

ok here’s a quick clip…it was record at home in Reaper on 2 track hard panned Left and Right to seperate the 2 tracks.

    http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8330502

I’m using just the Cathedral in my custom Hall mode setup in true stereo in/out.

Bass Big Muff on Left, Big Muff Tone Wicker on Right.

there’s also a clean part starting at 8 min…yeah I know it’s a long clip but I would play this all day long just to here the stereo bouncing…lol!

next I will use this setup in my 2 amps…and I usually have the Hoax and the DMM on the right side…but for a review on the Cathedral I keep them off.

it’s not well structure but I figure, you just need to here how it sounds anyway…

next I will post the reverse mode…and the Echo mode is cool too, but can only use the L mono input to get the crazy bouncing delay…yes it’s a delay too.

    yeah go for the LPB-1.

I put it in front of all my pedals and it gives more definition.

    it’s like getting better pick-ups…

    now it’s always on!

the small stone looks nice but I have the Hoax, no need to tell you I don’t really need a phaser…lol!

the LBP-1 compliment the Hoax a lot by the way!!!

I have one and it didn’t come with anything to actually mount the pedals to, just a few strips w/ velcro as dividers. I cut a board to fit and covered it w/ carpet to velcro my pedals.

    yes that’s what I have.

it would be good to have a lifted board in the back to hide my voodoo lab PP2+ and add 2 more pedals over it…!

but for the price, the EHX bag is hard to beat specially for carrying it by walk to the practice place.

I might go with a pedal train next to make some space…

    thanks.

I’m also going to retry my LPB-1.

It might be different on my amps?

    Ok forget what I said.

I just swaped my NS-2 for the LPB-1 yesterday, in front of my all my pedals, it gives an extra presence, and with the Muff’s and the Hoax, it sounds godly.

so it’s a must for any type of playing and tone.

next little upgrade will a be a Soul Preacher, for the price why not try it…
