I like the strong Belgians, like Rochefort 10 or Delirium Tremens, and am also a big fan of Czech beer (Pilsner Urquell, real Budweiser, Gambrinus) but I drink the local béier most of the time: Mousel, Diekirch, Bofferding, Simon etc. :thumb:
This 100% blows the Carbon Copy out of the water… how much is it?
I believe it’s $99 street price.
Sold! I’ll just have to wait a while, to avoid really pissing off my wife. I accidentally bought a ukulele last time I went to the music store… :freak:
By this you mean that the recorded delay could be programmed to remain whereby the recorded loop would be instructed to leave the vicinity tout de suite?
I reckon that the echo/delay circuit is the same one as the loop circuit which would make any modding to stop the loop while keeping the echo/delay impossible. I have spent several weeks playing through the SMMH and could never resolve this question.
It would certainly be fantastic were it possible.
The SMMH being a digital pedal, aren’t we talking about modifying code rather than picking up the old soldering iron?
Oh god, thanks. We’ve just been waiting for you to come and tell EHX to make it. Now it’ll be released immediately. Now EHX will be sure to cave because someone posted this thread.
So is it possible then to run a microphone with a 1/4 (guitar type) jack into the right input on the SMMH & a guitar into the left input at the same time? would that work?
Could you do this with the SMMH still in the chain with just mono out?
I don’t really mind how crude the set up is or really about the quality of the vocals (within reason) it is only for playing about with at home for now,
I don’t have any experience with Mixers & wouldn’t know where to start (I’m afraid to admit that there is a great sound guy who sets up the mixer & mics where my band practices, I have enough trouble just setting up my amp & pedal boards!!)
So if it’s something I could try out & only need to buy a cheap microphone & a mic cable with a 1/4 jack that would be great!
To be honest I don’t really want to spend too much more cash at the moment as I’ve had a bit of a splurge recently & gone from no Electric Guitar & no pedals to 2 Electrics & 2 full pedal boards in the last 6 months or so (including the SMMH & a Flanger Hoax just in the last week!!)
Please pardon my lack of knowledge (I’m still learning) & again any advice is appreciated
I think you need to use both outputs if you were using both inputs, I’m pretty sure whatever you send into one input will come out of the other (and not combine them into a single output) so you would need to either send the outputs to different inputs on your amp (if it has more than one) send each output to a different amp, or find a way of mixing the signals back together (mini mixer, ‘Y’ lead/box or something like that)
Wrong! Use the “mono” out and you’ll have signal from both sources in, well, glorious mono, of course!! I usually have a guitar into the L and a keyboard into the R input, going out to my Fender Champ 600. Weird things happen on that side of the pedal: when the effect is bypassed, the R input is muted.
