C.J.Participant
I can tell you that the POG2 doesn’t like power from a “switching” supply like the OneSpot. (even though it boasts 1700mA)
in my experience, neither does the Ring Thing, Microsynth, even Freeze.
they operate, but there is very obvious high-frequency noise that is so annoying.
C.J.Participant“Sorry, that page could not be found.”
?? i’m dying to know!
C.J.ParticipantIs that how Boss does it? i have a couple stereo pedals (delay and reverb) and they have two ins and two outs.
Or do they just fake it?
(please don’t think i’m trying to compare glorious EHX pedals to run-of-the-mill Boss pedals. just curious i you know how they pull it off)

They seem to have pretty much the same features / controls ??? What am I missing? (i am going to feel dumb when I find out)
C.J.ParticipantI have found that the only cure is to give in. that’s why i try to avoid looking at gear online.
actually playing guitar with the gear you currently have just seems to assuage the hunger by a little bit, but ultimately you’re going to end up buying whatever it is you’ve been lusting for.
my most recent case of succumbing to the pressure was when i had to have a Microsynth pedal. now i have it and i’ve got all these blooming filter sweeps all over the place. which will hold me over until the Talking Machine clips start pouring in and i’ll need one of those too.
the cure is the disease.
C.J.Participantlooks like a Blues Driver.
Circa Survive is absolutely incredible.
C.J.ParticipantDiscovered the key.
this was only occurring when I had the expression pedal plugged in whilst setting up a preset.
to avoid trouble, find a setting you like while using the expression pedal, and then UNPLUG THE EXPRESSION PEDAL before saving your preset.
mine now works flawlessly.
(although I had expected it to go up/down a full octave — it just has a range of +/- 10 half-steps…..)
C.J.ParticipantHey guys.
Got my Moog EP-2 pedal today to try out the whammy function, and alas, it is behaving just like MarkC described the boss pedal. when i click on the RT on my whammy preset, it drops the pitch slightly flat. then when i toe-down toe-up, it is the right pitch. but it always starts slightly flat. that is totally unusable.
can anyone help with this problem?
i avoided the roland pedal and got the Moog based on this thread. i’d love for it to work!
C.J.ParticipantQuote:I was really pissed about the Rate not really working with flanger before 12 o’clock…that’s because below 12 o’clock is the “filter-matrix” mode…you can manually sweep through the flange range to find a setting that tickles you and freeze it there. above 12 is when it sweeps back and forth on its own.
i think it’s a great swirly little box, and it’s psychedelic lushness is enough to make my drummer tell me to turn it off.
