Thanks Flick. Still no joy at all with the TRS cable. I do get sound with a TR cable but not control, and the Zoom doesn’t seem to like it anyway (it goes into Tuner mode randomly for some reason).

I’ve given up and returned the Zoom. Have got a Moog MF Boost pedal instead. That one plays nice with the 8 Step and I have an awesome customisible tremolo now
