brianeharmonjrParticipant
We just got the new price list in today. Parts catalog came a few days ago, or maybe last week. Already ordered most of the new pedals. Can’t wait. Also, can I say Memory Toy(nano-size analog delay in the works)? The rep mentioned it.
brianeharmonjrParticipantYeah, it definitely looked suspect. Anyway, has anyone had any experience with these Freedom Amps? As I said, I am on the hunt, but would really like some input other than the few reviews on Harmony Central. Anyone have opinions?
brianeharmonjrParticipantQuote:I have one of those in my collection, I’m selling ALL of my gear, and I have a LOT of it..I was going to put it up on ebay next week, I’ll send you or post a few pictures of the Freedom Amp, it has a 12V battery inside. They are LOUD too..
PM and Email sent, but haven’t heard back yet.
brianeharmonjrParticipantWell, you’ll just have to give to me then, I guess. I have been curious about these myself. It would be cool to add to a collection, but some of these old and “rare” pedals are few and far between for good reason I suppose.

brianeharmonjrParticipantWell, I contacted customer support. They told me where to send it and it was quite a speedy turnaround. Now my Q-Tron+ works perfectly and I love it. I’m not sure what they did to it, as there was no paperwork in the box, but it is now fantastic. Thanks!

brianeharmonjrParticipantI may be getting my hands on one of these soon, but it needs some work. I’m excited.
EDIT: Received, sent to Howard Davis, repaired and awesome. Best fuzz I own.

would be the best thing ever and would be more accessible for the cheaper guitarists.
could have this as an option on the ‘wah idea’ along with the volume. but that’s getting difficult…+1
brianeharmonjrParticipantI don’t know about GC having any of them. I try not to go to GC ever. The shop where I saw it only had one of the bigger catalogs and a bunch of the tiny catalogs to hand out.
brianeharmonjrParticipantQuote:BTW Brian, how’d you get the new EH catalog? I checked in my Tone Wicker’s box to see if I had it, but the catalog contained just showed everything up to the Holy Stain and SMMH and Germanium OD.It is in the big catalog (8.5″x11″) that just came out. Saw it at the local dealer. They just got it in the mail that day.
brianeharmonjrParticipantThanks for the response. As I said, it’s not only when I’m in high pass mode, it’s in every mode. When I have the gain cranked in boost mode I can get near unity gain, but I’ve tried every possible knob and switch configuration and I get almost no envelope filtering and it is really harsh sounding and quite. When I run a jumper between the efx send and return it works just about like it should, but if I don’t do this it is unusable. I’ve twiddled every knob and switch and adjusted the trimpot and there is still not a usable setting on it.
