Got my Cathedral today and I absolutely love it! The Accu Spring, Reverse, and Echo settings are my favorite, and I can definitely see how the infinite switch could be quite useful. I must admit I had my doubts, but I am 100% pleased. I guess the Holier Grail is now being replaced.

Well, I guess I’ll just have to get one. I love my Holier Grail, but this looks like it has quite a few more options and is smaller.

Personally I like dirty verb tones.

Would have preferred some shoegaze type tones for the reverse mode.

I like dirty verb tones as well, but it wasn’t the amplifier overdriving, it was the microphone clipping that was a bit annoying to me.

Can you please redo that and fix the mic clipping? Makes it tough to get a good grip on what it sounds like. Sounds good between the harsh tone and mic clipping though.

This 100% blows the Carbon Copy out of the water… how much is it?

    I believe it’s $99 street price.

I guess this seals the deal for me. I’m buying yet another delay. The expression pedal is just fantastic, and that square wave modulation looks like a ton of fun. I can’t wait.

it may sound stupid but can u run that riddle of a power supply other than the adaptor?

It works with a standard 9V supply, but it’s a bit noisy. I went back to the provided adapter and it was perfectly quiet. I say stick with the provided supply as recommended.

More specifically, what are the requirements to be able to buy stuff from EH wholesale?

Let’s say I’ve just opened my shop and now I want to sell some EH stuff. . . what do I do?

Just call EHX. They’ll tell you.

There’s very little info other than the unit name, short description, power supply and wholesale/retail prices.

I’m curious what the Wholesale prices are?

Well, become a dealer and you can find out.

Here’s what I currently have hooked up at home. I also just got a 2nd hand Tube Zipper that should soon be in the chain. I’ve also got plenty of other stuff off board, including a brand new Flanger Hoax that I’m currently selling. I made both boards, but the one on the right doesn’t have any paint or velcro yet.

Man, Jack must get samples sent out to him. I called in an order (at the music store I work at) within an hour of receiving the newest pricelist in the mail (first listing of this pedal), and have yet to receive it. Any idea when these are shipping? I assume soon. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m kinda hoping to snag it for myself. I already have 3 other EHX filter pedals (Tube Zipper, Q-Tron+, + Bassballs), so I don’t need it, but I’m a complete sucker for filters.

The Mothership is a fantastic pedal, just pricey and a bit more than I need. I had really wanted to try it, but for how much I used it I couldn’t really justify keeping a $400+ pedal, especially when I could have a couple of killer EHX pedals for the same price. So, I think I’m going back to the Microsynth for now. All the Pigtronix stuff that I’ve tried has been killer. I’ve got an Attack Sustain that I use all the time, and I may be getting my hands on an Echolution soon as well.

    Just about to buy one of these;
are there any problems I should look out for?

Only problem I’ve had is that all my other fuzz/OD/Distortion pedals don’t get used any more.
