For all you know, it may have been damaged in the shipping between EHX and MF, or between MF and you. I would seriously doubt something like that would get through QC.

You give them too much credit. My 45000 arrived not working properly. The SD card chassis was out of alignment with the slot. This did not happen in shipping. I heard from somewhere, I forget where, that there were a lot of problems with the first production run.

Good luck, midi sync seems to crash my 45000.

    Hey there,

Just a quick question about the quantized behavior of the 45000.

If the loop is quantized and I trigger a midi signal to mute track 3 near the end of the bar, will it happen immediately or wait for the bar to resolve? I’m assuming that it acts the same way as the loop switching but it doesn’t explicitly say in the manual.

    Thanks!

It will happen immediately, it treated muting as a volume change as far as I can tell, like moving the track volume all the quiet.

You can purchase a replacement power supply.

    Hi,

Is the pedal also working under 230v as in Europe (universal switching power supplies)

Can I just find the proper adaptor and not worry about damaging the pedal with a different voltage input

    thx

I was syncing the 45000 to a workstation. The sync function seemed to work fine. I was using the 45000 as a slave receiving midi clock. It does seem to require the development of a particular work flow that I haven’t quite gotten down. You have to have the master on record, for example, to record, from what I can tell. Things like that. But, I am no longer using the 45000 this way. Mostly because I realized I didn’t want to mess with bringing a laptop to gigs.

Hi guys, I’m thinking to buy the 45000, I’d use it synched to all my Midi units,
so, one of the main reason for me to choose the 45000 is for its Midi features.

Now, I want to ask you:
does anyone has experienced with the 45000 midi synched as SLAVE with the DAW ( Cubase, Ableton and so on..) used as MASTER to send Midi Clock, Midi Start and Midi Stop commands?
or, the 45000 slaved to a multi-fx rack (delays, filter, phaser) equipped with Midi which can sent out the Midi Clock to the 45000?

Does the 45000 works fine in this scenario?
I hope that anyone here has tried it with Midi.
    Let me know, it’s important

    THANKS

I ordered a 45000 back in February from Musicansfriend. I don’t know what chassis issue others had, but, on mine the SD card wouldn’t go in straight. At that price, I had a problem with this, so I sent it back.

In the interim, I talked to a guy from EHX at their booth at the Frankfurt Musikmesse. I had posted my problem on this forum, and someone had mentioned a recall. Interestingly enough, the EHX guy said that they didn’t do product recalls, and he hadn’t heard anything about problems with the 45000. He gifted me some swag and I went on my way.

Shortly after that I got a 45000 back from MF and I thought it was odd because they were listed as back ordered. Wouldn’t you know, the dingdongs sent me my same defective pedal back. rrrrrgghhh.

I had words with them, and we made arrangements. Yesterday I got a new 45000. I can say that the SD card problem has been fixed. I haven’t even fiddled with the headphone signal, I run into a monitor, plus a small PA. I also have the control pedal, and am really just learning how to use it. My setup plan is to sync it too a laptop running NI Maschine. The midi sync works “so far”. I thought it locked up last night, but, honestly, I was tired, and it was probably operator error.

I’ll try to post my progress.

Did you get this issue fixed?

Was your pedal part of the massive pedal recall I heard about?

You might check to see if it was one of the defective units.

Is this a late April Fool’s joke? I haven’t heard of any EH pedal recall, much less a massive recall.

I returned mine to Musician’s Friend, I should recieve a new one any day.

I had the high pitched noise problem when I was using a multi power supply. I started running the freeze on it’s own power and it was fine.
