I know a few good books.

Scar Tissue by Anthony Keidis- Its all about his life and whatnot. really good book if you like the chili peppers a lot.

Also, another really good book is I Am America, (And So Can You!) by Stephen Colbert. Its about America and stuff. Its an amazing book. Buy it!

So the lpb-1 would mess up the sound a little when used with the effect such as the flanger hoax?

if you used a boost after it in the loop I can’t see why it wouldn’t work. The LPB-1 isn’t completely transparent though it would alter your tone slightly, I wouldn’t say ‘mess it up’ I like what it does to my tone (although I’ve never tried it in a loop) but it would sound different. The MXR micro amp would colour the tone less but it’s double the price of an lpb…..

….have you got an overdrive pedal lying around, you could try that with the drive knob right down and the volume up to boost the signal, that would give you an idea of what it would sound like with a boost after it?

I never thought of the overdrive idea, but i guess that should probably work somewhat. It really doesn’t matter to me if it alters the tone a little, so i may try that and the lpb-1 or the micro amp to see how it is.

    Try contacting the amp company
The problem with FX loops is there isn’t really an industry standard and they all work a little differently. Maybe there’s something amp-side that can be done.

I don’t know if using a boost in conjunction would work quite right in the loop.

Oh- if the loop is a parallel loop, perhaps the is some phase cancellation between the clean signal and the effected signal. Try using the other output on the Clone Theory and see if that has an effect.

In my opinion don’t do it. Try saving a little money each week and then eventually you would have saved enough money to buy it and you wouldn’t have to sell all your old ones.

The lpb-1 is a linear power booster. Basically when it’s on, it adds volume. So because of the volume loss with the stereo clone theory on, if you put the lpb-1 on, it will bring you volume back up to what it was before the stereo clone theory is on. When both on, it will keep the volume at the same level as when they are both off. Know what i’m trying to say? Like I said I havent gotten to try it yet on my flanger hoax(also has volume issues) because i dont have it yet. My guess is it should work. When i get it i’ll let you know.

Heres the like to the lpb-1 page

Maybe buy an lpb-1 and put it next to it and then try to turn that and the stereo clone theory on at the same time and then it will be the same volume as when its off. I’m not sure if it works good, i havent tried it yet with my flanger hoax. but that seems to be the only solution i have.

After having this pedal for almost two weeks, it is now my favorite pedal. it makes the coolest sounds.

The only bad part about it is the volume loss. but i think i can solve that with an lpb-1. other than that its an amazing pedal.

I finally tried out a jazzmaster today at the guitar store. It sounded pretty good. It was one of the $800 classic player ones, not the 62 reissue.

Cool, i like how the frequency analyzer will be smaller and won’t take up a lot of room on my pedalboard if I buy it. Also, are the new XO pedals the same price as the older ones or are they the same price?

Sounds like a good idea. But after how long would a pedal be considered not new and be taken off the page?

I totally agree, but they should still work on making awesome analog effects too.
