I think i’ll take a picture of one of my pedals and use a fish eye lense and make it black & white to make it look more artistic and set it as my backround.
My Dad being in the antique business, he gets to venture into old people’s houses and goes to a lot of garage sales. He’s never got a pedal unfortunately.
his best buys musically though:
Roland Juno 60 analog synth- 40 dollars
Sequential Circuits Six Trak analog synth- 10 dollars
we’ve also bought and resold different amps and guitars, usually doubling our money.
I went to a flea market once with him and got an EMU Mo Phat sequencer for a dollar!!! Sold it for 300. Helped pay for some nice gear.
Someday though, someday he’ll find some pedals.
i never find anything musically related at flea markets. the only stuff like that there are bad quality acoustic and electric guitars.
I can find polaroid cameras for about a dollar though.
I would buy a double muff, but my next fuzz pedal would have to be the english muffn because i want to get some more of the sounds of John Frusciante and i know he used it a lot on stadium arcadium.
I play a Les Paul Nothing Fender in my arsenal, but if I had the money to buy another guitar, that could change…
Same here, except mine’s a jr. I would buy a fender but im using my money to get more effects instead of guitars.
Do you like the JR? I’ve not used anything with a p-90 yet.
I love the Jr., I would never sell it because it sounds good playing almost any type of music.
I’ll have to keep that in mind. I’m looking to buy a guitar for when I go to college, as I don’t want to take my LP, but I don’t want an Epi or something crappy…I’ve been thinking about buying a used SG standard @ my local music store, they’ve got one for a grand, which i didn’t think was too bad…i think with a p-90 i might miss that thick, bluesy neck pu sound…
yea, i’m not sure if a jr. is good for blues. I play mostly rhcp and other types of rock.
Actually, i’ve seen John Mayer use a jr. and he plays mostly blues stuff so maybe.
Does anyone think the non XO frequency analyzer will be worth a lot? Everything seems to be turning into an XO so i wouldnt see it not being worth a lot.(did that sentence make sense?)
Is the current Big Muff Pi going to have any inflated value? (not that I ever plan on selling mine) Or will people 20 years from now still want the 70’s models?
I’m pretty sure the current one will be worth alot.
People will probably still want 70’s modles 20 years from now, and they will probably be worth a ton.
