A two in one thing sounds great. but couldnt the bass booster cancel out the trebel booster if they are at the same amount of boost?

Don’t think you are a traitor for not buying something ehx.
Boss has made a few good pedals over the years. Like the DS-1, it was the first pedal i ever got and i would never sell it because it has such a great sound ( of course not as great compared to my big muff pi )

Yea really
BlueSteelParticipantyea, i wouldnt pay that much either.
BlueSteelParticipantYessss! Can’t wait to get one!
BlueSteelParticipantWow, theres so much EHX stuff out there that i never heard of!
Thats a great find :thumb:
BlueSteelParticipantOne of the guitarists of this band called the dangerous summer uses a holy grail reverb pedal.
BlueSteelParticipantTry seeing if it is connected or not, if it is, then its probably a bad LED and i guess replace it.
BlueSteelParticipanthaha, thats so cool!
BlueSteelParticipantThe small clone is probably the best chorus sound that you can get. i havent tried the stereo electric mistress though.
BlueSteelParticipantmmmkay, thanks guys, i’ll use the 1/4 watt ones.
and i’ve figured out that the “D2” is for the LED.
BlueSteelParticipantQuote:Aw, really? I’m surprised so many people use stock… not that there’s anything wrong with stock.I use stock pickups, but i’ve been wanting to change my gretsch’s pickups to tv jones’.
BlueSteelParticipantQuote:1/4 watt are common stompbox size. 1 watt are hugeAs for the diodes, use the same two kinds.
so it really wouldnt matter if i used the 1/4 watt instead the 1/2 watt. would it make any difference to the sound at all or would it be the same?
BlueSteelParticipantok cool
i actually think that they made a mistake and put in “D2” because if you click on the bottom to the finished one, theres a picture of the inside and there is nothing in the place where it says in the diagram to have a diode so i’ll just not put one in there. also it doesnt say anything about it on the actual schematic.
BlueSteelParticipantyesterday i was at this antiques place and i found a danelectro amp that the seller said was from the late 50’s or early 60’s it was sort of a half stack. and it was a tube amp. i just thought it was cool but i dont need another amp so i didnt buy it. plus im saving for some ehx stuff.
http://ampblog.fargenamps.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/1485m1.jpg it looked almost like this except i think a little smaller.
