Not to gripe……. but I have a gripe:

Isn’t the “poll” attached to this thread kind of pointless? Aren’t both single coils and Hb’ers great. I play through them both, depending on what the sound or style calls for. I have mutual love for both, not to mention guitars that have both and that get used equally. I guess it would be more realistic results if it had an added “both/either” or “depends” option. That would probably take most votes.

It’s about as telling as a “tits or a$$” poll……. Aren’t they both just great!

Tru That! I like the sound of both.

Also what about P90s? I use them a lot too.

I love P-90’s! i’m using some soapbar p-90’s on the guitar that i’m making. I’m going to work a lot on it over the weekend and probably finish it on monday. and i’ll probably post pics of it!

    OMG GUYZ!!1!

The flanger hoax has the most possibilities of any flanging/phasing pedal. I love getting those crazy, spacey sounds out of it. Anyone who loves flanging/phasing will love this pedal. It does take a while to figure everything out, but once you do that, you can make it sound amazing.

I’d rather get the SMMH just because of the looping feature.

Keep the small clone and get the flanger hoax. you can get pretty much any flanging or phasing sounds with it.

The Small Clone is probably the best chorus you can get. I’ve played a few boss chorus pedals, but nothing compares to the Small Clone.

haha, this is pretty cool, even though i don’t play rock band (i prefer to play real instruments :) ). maybe people who play the guitar and play rock band will find out about ehx and buy some of their real pedals.

Oh, definetly the Flanger Hoax. I’ve got one and it’s crazy. you could get any flanging or phasing sounds. It does take a while to figure out all the knobs and what they do, but once you figure it out, its loads of fun. And try combining it with other pedals, it makes it sound even cooler. I strongly recommend getting one if your into getting crazy and unique sounds with a pedal.

Where can i get EHX strings? Do they sell them at Guitar Center?

The big muff pi is totally different to the muff overdrive. the big muff has a whole lot more gain to it than the muff overdrive. you probably could get a nice bluesy overdrive sound with the muff overdrive.
