BlueSteelParticipantQuote:limited edition runs of each type could be really sweet
thats a great idea, i would love to see that happen. also rams head muff reissues.
BlueSteelParticipantwoah, that XV-JT90 at the top right of the page in sunburst looks like a telecaster jaguar hybrid.
BlueSteelParticipantQuote:Quote:i love that les paul, it looks awesome!Yeah, it’s a funky piece of dry wood. Great pickups, and very comfortable to play.
BTW, check out my band on MySpace (click on the link in my signature). I used the Les Paul for both songs playing on our page right now. ‘Too Much Room’ has that guitar all over it and the solo in ‘Oceanbound’ is also the LP.
your band is pretty good :thumb:
BlueSteelParticipanta similar guitar to the HH ones are Fender Toronados, because of the humbuckers and similar shape, but they don’t have all the tone controls like the jaguar, and they can get kinda pricey on ebay because they are discontinued.
also, for similar mustangs, a duo sonic, bronco or maybe even a musicmaster.
BlueSteelParticipantQuote:I like the vibratos like the ones on the Jaguar/Jazzmaster (i think that is what is really a floating vibrato, not the ones on strats?). I have a bigsby on my main guitar, a Gretsch, and i like it, but i hate changing strings on it. It is a nightmare!!!i love the bigsby on my gretsch, but you’re right, changing the strings is horrible.
BlueSteelParticipanti love that les paul, it looks awesome!
BlueSteelParticipanti’d have to go with fixed bridge.
BlueSteelParticipantthose are some pretty crazy sounds in the 2nd video. :thumb:
BlueSteelParticipantQuote:Quote:By the way, is there any truth to the rumour that gearmanndude is Jack Black?are you really?
BlueSteelParticipanti thought some of those were discontinued a while ago, like the microsynths?

Also, John Frusciante uses the 1960 cabs, but does anyone know the 2×12 equivalent to them, or ones similar?

BlueSteelParticipantQuote:Quote:Well, I was going for a squier, since I don’t have the extra $ for a fender. I was thinking of any from the vintage modified series, specially the SH one.The Squire’s aren’t bad. Especially if you get one that has string through the body. I played the less expensive one that didn’t and it didn’t sound right to me.
I played one of these and it seemed pretty good:
why not get one like this, it’s only $150 more, and i’m sure its a little better.

i’m really thinking that he is jack black, but i highly doubt it. but then that makes me think: how can he afford all of those pedals?“Rachelzank” was the one I meant. There’s a good couple of similar posts scattered around the forum. They copy comments from sites that are linked in thread to make them seem legit.
yea, those are getting really annoying.
