November 21, 2023 at 10:12 am in reply to: Pitchfork+ Presets LED persistently blinking, how to stop #206741Blue Meanie (EHX Staff)Moderator
The Pitch Fork+ doesn’t draw 150mA, it draws just under 120mA.
Answer:
Blue Meanie (EHX Staff)ModeratorYes, that is the point. The algorithm will detect the input frequencies, apply processing depending on which 9-series pedal, and then reconstruct the affected signal to send it to the output. I would suggest trying one in person to get a feel for how it works.
Yes, some keyboards do have pitch wheels.
September 18, 2023 at 3:57 pm in reply to: Just bought the Pitchfork+. How on Earth do I set it for easy detuning ONLY? #204614Blue Meanie (EHX Staff)ModeratorDetune is a sub-menu within each SHIFT channel, it can be used to adjust +/- 99 cents, which equates to one cent less than -m2 and +m2. You are asking about a half-step(100c) and full-step(200c), which are intervals.
To set SHIFT 1 to half step, minor second, +/-100c
1. Press SHIFT 1
2. Use the VALUE encoder to scroll to -m2(half step below root) or +m2(half step above root)To set SHIFT 2 to a full step, major second, +/-200c
1. Press SHIFT 2
2. Use the VALUE encoder to scroll -M2(full step below root) or +M2(full step above root)Once you have DRY, SHIFT1, and SHIFT2 volume controls to your liking, press PRESET and use the VALUE encoder to scroll to a number slot that doesn’t have a “.”(empty) after the number, and save by holding down the VALUE encoder until the preset number stops blinking.
Blue Meanie (EHX Staff)ModeratorThat behavior doesn’t sound normal. The expression data has nothing to do with the presets. Only parameters flagged by the microcontroller will blink the preset LED. Try readjusting the volume controls, then load the preset. Sometimes the volume controls end up at the threshold of a value that trips the flag on the micro. If that doesn’t help, please contact us at info@ehx.com to set up an RA# so you can send in your pedal for an evaluation.

January 17, 2023 at 9:49 am in reply to: pitch fork + doesn’t save shift1/shift2/dry mix in my user presets #197212Blue Meanie (EHX Staff)Moderator“I can hear my guitar only if the bypass is on or if I turn the s1/S2/dry buttons.” Do you mean the volume controls for SHF1, SHF2 and DRY?
The volume settings are saved to all user presets. Send an email to info@ehx.com to receive a RA# so you can send in your PF+ for repair.
Blue Meanie (EHX Staff)ModeratorIt could be a few things, a plug not making a secure connection, a faulty jack on the PF+, and maybe a broken or cold solder joint in the signal path.
Blue Meanie (EHX Staff)ModeratorWe updated the PF+ to V1.08.
Please visit https://www.ehx.com/support and message our customer support staff on how to receive the free update.
Thanks! :O
Blue Meanie (EHX Staff)ModeratorI believe you would just have to cover the shipping cost.
Blue Meanie (EHX Staff)ModeratorThe update would be done at our factory once it’s available.
Blue Meanie (EHX Staff)ModeratorThe current firmware doesn’t have an option to send DRY to both outputs when sending SHIFT 2 to the AUX output. I’ll add it to the list of future updates.
Blue Meanie (EHX Staff)ModeratorThe Cock Fight has an analog signal path. Some of the features are handled by a digital device, but the sound is 100% analog.
Blue Meanie (EHX Staff)ModeratorYes the Cock Fight will work with the 8 Step. It sounds awesome!

Blue Meanie (EHX Staff)ModeratorSee the thread “The What Is The Current Draw For That EHX Pedal Thread”. I posted the answer there. We are trying to keep all of the current draws in one place for reference.
