bkerr101ParticipantQuote:This is crazy!
It is like turning on the wall light switch and having the water start pouring out of the kitchen faucet!hahaha! its true! ive given up for now and am now running the wet signal into an SWR combo and all is well this way! when i can try it in a different PA i will post how it worked. thanks for the replies tho!
bkerr101Participanttried the cable into the send jack but no change. thanks for the help tho! im stumped!
bkerr101Participantthere is an aux in and an effect out. no power amp out tho!
bkerr101Participantthere is reverb! each channel has its own level control as well as a master reverb control. i turned all channel reverb to zero as well as the master and no change.
and there is not an effects loop, there is just an effect send 1/4″ jack, no return.
bkerr101Participant1/4″ jacks on the PA are unbalanced.
bkerr101Participantyes, im using it with a bass rig.
bkerr101Participanti agree on the ground loop. i havent been able to figure it out tho. i took my pedal board out of the equation and changed all cables but have not switched out the power conditioner. (amp, PA, and MEL9 all plugged into same conditioner).
bkerr101Participantthat is exactly what is happening. and agreed, it should be impossible! the PA signal is somehow being fed back through the MEL9 and sending to my amp.
i have never seen anything like this?
