Repaired…… Transistor BC121L was in the wrong way around
bettsajParticipantThat’s great Simon…. Many thanks.
send me an email, and we can make arrangements for payment etc…
Regards
Andy
bettsajParticipantHi….. Obviously you still feel that amount is not enough… Can you please tell me what you’re looking for for this board. Without the SAD BBD it’s lost a lot of value, in fact a good 75% of the value is in that chip which I don’t want. The rest of the components are all still available, and cost pence, so no value in resistors or the other IC’s.
Looking at the photos I have of this board it appears that some version 2’s had all the IC’s soldered directly to the board except the SAD1024… In another photo of another v2 board they’re in DIL sockets…. Either way the SAD chip will pop out as it’s likely in a DIL socket.
I’m already making a mistress clone, but want to make a a more accurate one in line with the original layout. I did exactly the same with the colorsound Power boost pedal, and in fact stu Castledine complimented me on my PCB fabrication, and how accurate it was to his.
I want this board… But at a reasonable price, ‘cos at the end of the day we both know what a PCB is worth….. not a lot in all honesty. Please let me know how much you’d let it go for…. Or you may just end up sitting on it for another 2 years.
bettsajParticipantYes, I’m in the UK.
The bottom line is I’m a pedal builder, and want a board to copy so I can fabricate more. I will eventually probably build a pedal from the board but initially I want to recreate the traces from an original… Hence why i’m not fussed about the IC. The likelihood is If you sell it to me I’ll remove all the components anyway leaving just the board.
I know the chips sit in a DIL socket so simply will pop out in seconds with an extractor…. I can up the cost happily, but the board Is likely not worth much more than around £30 without the SAD IC in it.
bettsajParticipantSorry if that price was way under your initial expectation…… I understand that was maybe too low.
Are you willing to sell it separate from the SAD1024 chip? If not, instant message me how much you want for it as is….
bettsajParticipantWhat do you want for it??
bettsajParticipantI’m not interested in the 1U rack… and believe it or not I’m not interested in the SAD1024…… I have 2 NOS chips already.
I’m really only interested in the board… Nothing else. If you want to remove the SAD1024 chip and sell that on EBay separately go ahead… you should get around £70 for that chip on its own.
I’ll give you £15 + shipping cost for the board without the chip, pots, and 1U rack….

bettsajParticipantI would like to buy it….. How much do you want for it??
Instant message me and i’ll give you my email
Many thanks

bettsajParticipantQuote:Hi,Rummaging around my old gear I found an original circuit board for the black/green Electric Mistress The pcb is marked rev EH-5200-1 so the first and earliest version made in this livery dating back to around 1977. It uses the Reticon SAD 1024 of course and matches the original circuit diagram spec.
Perhaps foolishly in hindsight I junked the original casing and 19″ 1U rack mounted it with access to all controls including providing cv input. I used the original pots. I believe it works perfectly.
Anybody interested in buying it? Can provide pics and further detail on request.
May eBay it. I am UK based. It’s a punt after so long….. But have you still got this PCB, and if so do you still want to sell it?
