Well after I let it sit for 24 hours I powered up again, and the unit appears to be working properly now. So I am not sure what actually happened there, I have never seen anything like it with the 22500 or any other looper pedal I have had. I appreciate your help, and if it does happen again I will take a video.

Yes, I can definitely take a video if it happens again. I should actually have done that when it happened the first few times, but I didn’t think of it. I am waiting until tomorrow to power up again, just to see if letting it sit for an extended period of time will get the loop to drop out of whatever memory slot it is trapped in. This doesn’t make any sense really, but neither does the loop itself.

I will post tomorrow after I power up again.

    Thanks for getting back.

It is a random guitar bit I was playing while tuning up. It was not from a previous loop, in fact I did not have a loop playing when I was tuning, and there were no recording lights on for either loop channel. I hadn’t even touched the pedal at that point, just powered up and was tuning my guitar.

It plays back the random loop even without an SD card in the slot. When an SD card is in the slot it plays back over every loop program in the unit.

If I turn power on, the random loop starts playing even when no footswitches or buttons have been touched.

It is very weird. I am keeping power off for 24 hours to see if maybe after a full day the problem resolves itself.
