You don’t by chance have it set to Manual Expression with the rates off do you? Just thought I’d throw it out there.

Till you get a new tube try the AY7 in the right spot and the AX7 in the left. You’ll dig it.

I don’t see why not. The problem is after you record a track it loops automatically and I don’t think you can set them for one shots but I guess you could still use it that way. Also there are only two inputs FYI.

I have two of them. They are awesome, like the info says they are just a bit smoother than the USA version.

I use something similar: Russian Black Big Muff + LPB-2ube. Very beatiful combination. Muffs improve a lot in tone and sustain combined with tube pedals.

You pump the LPB into the Muff or after it?

If you want saturation you should have gotten the Hot Tubes. The Muff’n is cool though but mine is kind of noisy.

Any of the tube pedals work with tube amps. It’s basically like adding two more tubes to your preamp section. I have used the Muff’n and Hot Tubes with my tube amp and both rawk, I especially love the Hot Tubes.

I have two Russian BMPs and honestly through my solid states they sound like heaven, but through my tube amp it sounds like absolute 100% garbage. It’s all farty and weird sounding…is this normal?

My Russian Green BMP sounds like crap thru the Twin yeah, but great thru the Musicmaster Bass… Also great thru SS amps….

My modern reissue Russian Big Muff actually sounds better through a tube amp than SS. But, it’s a different version than the green one.

I have two black ones, but one I modded to the green version with the tone switch.

It’s all farty and weird sounding…is this normal? I’ll post a new thread and some clips later if you want to hear it. Sorry for hijacking the thread but I think you will be satisfied with your solid state fuzz sound with the BMP. I’m glad I got the Russians though because I saw a BMP in Guitar Center the other day, and it is way too damn big!!!

You can use the Unison/Whistle mode without an instrument plugged in. Most of them require harmonies from an instrument to do the work however.

You have confused me yet again. Just set one of the ones you don’t use to be full dry signal with whatever reverb you like. You wouldn’t lose half, only one! There has to be one you don’t use! How do you get them to work? Other than the vocoder and unison the harmonies on mine flat out suck. I sing and play chords and nothing happens most of the time!

I just got my 2880. It came with two cards and the second one didn’t work. It was formatted in Fat32 (I think, might have been 16). You do not format the cards in 32 or 16!!! The manual says in windows click format and the just select FAT (it is the default one, just FAT not FAT16 or FAT32) and this is what I did and now it works great. Do a long format as well not a quick one and it should fix your problem.

Just set the blend knob to fully counter clockwise and then use the reverb on the dry signal.

basically my question is, can i make my loops on the 2880 where a click track is available to both me and the drummer via headphones, but will not actually be on the recorded/overdubbed track?

and if so, will the recorded loops and all overdubs be quantized to this click?

will this be already inbuilt in to the machine or will this have to be done via syncing with a midi clock?

    is it even possible?

even if only the drummer gets the click that’d be great.
    .

I have played with my 2880 now and here is my synopsis.

    1. You can make the click available through headphones and I wonder if you could use one of the other outputs as a headphone jack as well and send it to both then just record in mono. Might be possible! Also the clicks are not recorded onto the tracks as far as I can tell!!!

    2. You can quantize them but you don’t have to.

    3. Once again, you can midi sync it but you don’t have to as the clix is built in.

    4. One person can definitely get the click and I am pretty sure you could do it with two!

    1. what powers 22 caliber? battery? EHX Adaptor (of coarse), any adaptor (alternative ex. Boss or ZOOM negative inside)?
    2. Type of Speakers… (ohms?) headphones maybe?
    3. do i need to plug in my cabinet for power supply? or just connect it and the amp will power my speakers?

    1. Comes with a power supply
    2. Works on any 4, 8, or 16 ohm cabinet.
    3. The amp powers the cabinet. (This amp is just like a head unit in a pedal) Your wording in this makes me wonder if you understand much about amps/cabs, maybe you should read up on it.

All of these answers are in the manual, RTFM! ;)
