    ive just read through these replys again and noted that there are more people saying soul preacher or white finger than the black finger ?

    why is this ?

    i think im definatly going to get the Big muff With Tone Wicker, The Small Clone, and im still undecided on the compressor

    i say this because when i tried the black finger, it didnt take well to distortion, it almost cut the levels out completely, unless i really turned up the level control on the distortion pedal,

    but then its just i spose the black and the white are the same just with FET and tubes making the difference

    i had a tube amp i loved the warmth and dynamics of it, and i dont like solid state amps, so maybe the black could be the one, i dont know lol !!!!

    maybe i should just get one, if i dont like it, return it and get the other ??

    dont know if this has already been posted but could the little big muff or the big muff w/ tone wicker do overdrive sounds and softer distortion then saturated crunchy fuzz ?

    yh i ran it both ways

    muff’n > black finger

    black finger > muff’n

    wether i was just a bad day, casue ive seen loads of things on youtube that use od with it

    would the white finger say be better for use with od ? or is the black finger more warm and fatten up the tone more ??

    i heard that the white finger is exactly the same as the black finger but without the tubes

    which is better ?

    i would want to get a warm, tone fattening sound out it

    ive tried the black finger but not the white

    awesome been looking for something on here for ages

    must have missed it

    i currently dont own a pog

    and its a pedal that i thought id never need

    but recently ive been looking at going for an all EHX board and its been there, bugging me to have a listen at some youtube vids, so i did and now ive got MAJOR GAS for it

    OMG

    i really wanna get but i dont know what use i will have for it

    did you guys think the same before getting it ?
    or
    did you get it knowing you will have a lot of use with it ?

    i never had this problem with mine but then recently it went all like it and now it doesnt even work

    just muffled fuzzed up detuned wails

    crap

    good job i just got a DMM

    just an update its working fine now

    i have it through a differnt amp

    the amp i was putting it through at the time has gone back and its faulty

    i have since got two extensions out of two sockets in the wall

    one extension has my pedal board power, 1echo, SEM And english muff’n power supplys in

    the other has

    holy grail power
    boss power for my tuner on top of the amp
    and my amp

    i only get very slightly mininal hum now, so tiny you can hardly hear it

    happy now

    i think it all depends on if you overload extensions and sockets

    ive been wondering the same thing too

    ive got the muff’n and think its the best pedal ive ever brought

    i was also thinking about getting another one too but then i noticed the hot tubes, all of my store dont stock it, and im too indicisive when it comes to these decision

    i think i will either get another muff’n and swap the tubes around, or just get another muff’n and keep it the same, just different gain based sounds

    i posted a comment on here a while ago and on HCF about getting a reverby sound through the DMM

    what settings will i need to do this ?

    what amp do you use ??

    i found i had this problem with my fender blues deluxe 40watt tweed

    but when i use it with my avt150 marshall , 4×12 cab i have nothing, and went to a studio the other day and used the fender deluxe hot rod am (same series) and had no problems so i think it was a dodgy amp cause dodgy things to the pedal

    i play lead guitar in my band, were sorta based around kasabian, the arctic monkeys, with a bit of unique sound added to it, so i use a fair bit of overdrive a lot of the time, not too much cranked gain but enough so which compressor would work well with this ??

    cause i know some are good with gain and others bad etc
