i would love to go to namm, but itd cost a fortune you know ?
i think they will realease some new “old” pedals, so re-release some classic ones, or they will do some great ideas, such as an indiviudila freeze/gliss pedal, thatd beamazing
AshjaahsMuffParticipantAWESOME MATE
well done, i didnt know about this contest i wish i entered, although i only have 12 pedals so wouldnt have won, but worth a try !!
and i want to add a lot more ehx to my collection, if i only i got paid more
AshjaahsMuffParticipanti have both analogue, digital, and tube pedals from ehx, and i think that they are all amazing. some have better bits that others, but each of them are awesome, and i dont think id choose over digital, analogue, tube or anything, so long as it sounds good, thats all im happy with.
i have also heard with digital and analogue delay pedals should run analogue – digital – amp
is this true ?
i know it should be what ever sounds good to you, which i do use, i just wondered what is the “meant to be” system ???
cheers
AshjaahsMuffParticipanti have the original big box holy grail and i had a lot of problems with humming and buzzing coming from the pedal.
when the pedal was in my amps effect loop (marshall avt150H) it sounded fantastic but there was constant hum coming from it, so i thought id put it back in the front of my amp, but the humming stopped and the buzzing got worse. so i took it out and put it back in the effects loop and now i had buzzing, humming, farting, squeling, everything you dont want from a pedal.
so i asked a few people on here and various other sites, and few people said a few different things, and i eventually found out i was overloading the power supply. i used the original power supply that came with the pedal, but the extension cables i was using etc, couldnt handle the power and what not, and for some reason it just took the holy grail and buzzed that, none of my other pedals had this problem, just the holy grail, it was also worse in my fender hot rod deluxe, but i had some problems with that amp, and thats another story. but yh just check the power and make sure your not overloading the pedal, try it on its own, and see what happens
anything else you need help with just ask here, and we’ll hopefully sort it out !!!
AshjaahsMuffParticipantyh jack defiantly used to run his muff into his big box pog, however on the racountors tour, he ran the micro pog before
AshjaahsMuffParticipantim looking at getting a memory toy
i currently have a deluxe memory man and i want to add another delay and ive been looking at the memory toy, its something that really interests me

The effect really needs the envelope filter of the Microsynth and a Ringmod effect for the metalic sound.
That said ther at tons of cool sounds with in the POG2.
I love that box!
Billyh im looking at getting a microsynth
but what i need is just a simple piano sound, just for when i pick individual notes, it can sound like a piano. i was thinking would it be something with the two upper octvaes and the first lower octave ?
if someone can help me with this itll be fantastic
i dont want the sound like bill gets, even though its fantastic, its not the sound im looking for.
cheers
