When in bypass mode there is no change in volume. I’m aware of the volume control. When I turn the pedal on there may be a volume increase depending on where the volume/gain is set. It’s like a little preamp and I can get some super creamy OD tones out it. But I digress. When the Wiggler is on, then I turn on the Memory Man, only then does the volume double.
I’ve since put The Wiggler last and SMMwH before it and the volume issue has ceased. I don’t like the physical location of the pedals, but that’s an aesthetic issue that I’ll have to rectify.
I had a reply via tech support email that suggested it could be an impedance issue. Do you know anything about that?
When I’m not running the SMMwH I’m stereo, I have a small 1/4″ cable I plug from the bottom mono out to bottom mono in. It adds to the repeats and you get some groovy tones!
