    I am trying the White Finger of my bass player and I liked a lot, but it’s really too big for my pedalboard.

    Is the Nano Soul Preacher another Ross clone?

    tone will be better than 9v
    sustain (according to fishlog – TGP user)

    About the 24v improvement that was only my supposition.
    Usually old EHX has a “strong” preamp (I know the Deluxe memory Man) and the sustain difference could be believable.

    What’s the “bent steel” taht you talking about? Like an internal voltage multiplier?

    I am very undecided on choosing between the old reissue and XO micro-synth.
    Price is similar, probably RI is a little cheaper (they are already discontinued but still “findable”)
    IMHO the pros:

    – Reissue: Mojo, 24v power (tone will be better than 9v), sustain (according to fishlog – TGP user), price, repairable (the other has smd construction)

    – XO: smaller footprint, True-Bypass

    comments and suggestion will be appreciated…

    Hello to everyone from an italian EHX lover (so please forgive my english)!

    I’m seriously gasing for the tube zipper, and I like the sound from all the demo I’ve heard, but I still have a doubt.
    I owned an English Muff’n, that I used to like at low gain settings, but at least got to sold, because it was incredibly BRIGHT. I used to set the highs near to zero.

    My setup (Jazzmaster + Bassman ’59 ltd) is not so dark, ok, but I have tried several distortion pedals and none of those were so harsh. I also tried to swap the tubes with 12 ay7 without improvements.

    Thinking to its same tubes engine, is the Tube Zipper “distortion side” also so bright?
