I looked inside, pots seem to be ok, they have the same marking as one on my Small Stone ver.2 from that era. Maybe they have been replaced, but it must have been made long time ago. I still think it is interconnected with changing the paintjob from previous model to this one. Theres a vintage DMM on a foto that has the starting and the ending regulating point of all pots exactly as my polyflange – although my polyflange has a 220v cord, maybe it was made for Europe??
Hi! I recently got Polyflange. It was true bypassed by previous owner, and he claims he didn’t make any other modifications. But there’s one thing that bothers me a bit – as you can see on a photo, I set feedback and rate pots on MAX, width and tune on MIN, and the mark on a pot doesn’t correspond to the marking on a housing. I was wondering, if your Polyflanges have the same kinda problem?? Previous owner says it’s cause EHX changed the paintjob and kinda missed such a little nuance, the previous device was Echoflange and maybe there is a difference, where the pots regulating circle starts and ends on that ( think it starts on 6 o’clock, on Poly flange – 7)??
The marking on the pots says mine is from 1980s era, still it sounds great
Cheers, Andrew
