tubezipper, just curious, what guitar and amp do you use? I liked your clean tone in the first track…
Thanks man
My clean tones are just a boss od-3 which i have always on.
That’s pretty interesting… I find an LPB-1 can sometimes sweeten up a clean tone pretty nicely, but I need it for a solo boost, so I don’t use it as such.
Hey tubezipper and Julian, I like your stuff a lot. tubezipper, just curious, what guitar and amp do you use? I liked your clean tone in the first track…

We’re only high schoolers so be nice with your criticisms, haha. Honestly though, I’d like to have your feedback, especially on the track 2003: A Space Oddysey. I have a solo on that on which I used a Stereo Electric Mistress.
Tell me what you guys think!
Alkis
Thanks!
I like your band’s songs Hey Michael! and 2003 the best. The guitar and bass parts are pretty cool, especially the noisy and surfy stuff. There Stereo Electric Mistress part is that crazy part at the end right? I really dug that.
Keep it up! Just remember to never stop writing and never stop exploring music.
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback and advice. Yes, that breakdown at the end was the Mistress. I love that pedal!! Great for adding a psychedelic edge to solos, and with feedback, it makes the most crazy R2D2 noises.
I have 5 pedals, 2 of which are electro-harmonix. After Christmas the fraction will be 4/7 ( ). One of the non-EHX’s is a Crybaby, the other is a Bad Monkey which I recieved as a gift, and the other is a Marshall Guv’nor reissue which I no longer need and it’s up for sale
I’m in several groups. I do some electronica, with lots of phsycadelic, analog stuff, which usually takes the form of a bluesy synth solo over a trance rhythm part. I can’t tell you what it sounds like, because it came about completely by accident and not design. I’m also in a jam band. We do a lot of Pink Floyd type stuff, with some Police and Black Sabbath thrown in for good measure.
I like the idea of combining Pink Floyd with Black Sabbath, that sounds cool. do you guys have any recordings?

Guys, what do you think about this twin amp set-up !
Guitar –>EHX –>Fender Hot Rod in (((stereo))) w Marshall VintageModern 2×12 combo.
For a Sludy-Stoner Doom tone.
Think Fu Manch mixed with Acid King & Electric Wizard.
. . . or would a Marshall DSL401 combo be a better suited Marshall ?
Hey man, I also play doomy, stonery things sometimes, and I bi-amped a Hot Rod with my Tiny Terror… the Fender just doesn’t mesh with the British overdrive tone. Matamps (Green) and old Oranges kick ass for doom/drone/stoner but they’re so goddamn expensive! My dream is to own one of the Mogwai guitarists’ setups, can’t remember whether it was John Cummings or Barry Burns, which is a 70’s Orange OD120 through a Matamp Green 4×12 cab, and a random assortment of EH pedals.
