http://www.marysmonster.com/pedals/MBbass.mp3
I just set it for a short delay and put the clean blend at 11 o clock.
sounds kinf od rockabilly-ish
then you hear me crank the feedback to full.
then I crank up the depth to full with the square wave selected set to chorus
what you end up with is a self oscillating rhythmic pattern that I can actually play over without changing!
Just bass into one of my Muff clones into memory boy into the computer no layering or multitracking AT ALL!
Hey man, sounds great!
adumoParticipantQuote:I’d just want an analog style octave fuzz muffYeah I agree, that would be totally sweet. A reissue of the Deluxe Octave Multiplexer, would also be cool.
adumoParticipantThe Moog Ep-2 is the best expression pedal on the market (my opinion.) Plus, Moog is like EHX, always making reliable, extraordinary products.

It’s all farty and weird sounding…is this normal? My Russian Green BMP sounds like crap thru the Twin yeah, but great thru the Musicmaster Bass… Also great thru SS amps….
My modern reissue Russian Big Muff actually sounds better through a tube amp than SS. But, it’s a different version than the green one.
August 22, 2009 at 2:15 am in reply to: New Electro Harmonix V256 Vocoder with Reflex-Tune Video! #100840adumoParticipantI like the vocoder aspect of this new effect. I may have to pick one up in the future. It reminds me of an effect Ween might use, mang.
adumoParticipantQuote:Its the new version if it cost you $50 or so and is black thin sheet metal with a yellow font, chickenhead style knobs and doesn’t weigh much.Yeah, it has the green/yellow writing on it and I paid $50.00 for it on Amazon.com. From what I understand there was a version that looked very similar (black w/ green/yellow writing) but was a bit bigger. Anyways, I definitely preer the Russian Big Muff over the American Big Muff. It goes great with my Stereo Polychorus.
adumoParticipantI have had my rusian big muff for a few months now, and the switched jacks really don’t bother me, but good to know it’s switchable. btw How do you now if it’s the most recent issue?

adumoParticipantAll of Ehx’s stuff impresses me. They are by far my favorite Guitar Pedal company. They also make some of the world’s finest tubes.
adumoParticipantI don’t know if this has been mentioned but cover your hand with a sock while doing this. This prevents the oils from your hand from going onto the tube. These oils can “crack” the tube after a while.
adumoParticipantQuote:it may sound silly but how is this differentg to the stereo electric mistress??The Stereo Electric Mistress is digital; the Deluxe Electric Mistress is analog.
adumoParticipantVery nice video! Keep up the good work!
adumoParticipantQuote:Yes, julian, bring back the Freedom Amps, one for guitar, one for bass, and one for vocals. Then one can set up a Freedom Band, with drums, bass, two guitars, sax and vocals….all nice and loud and punchy and all running on batteries! Music on the street, music in the park, music on the beach, in the subway..Well put Watson. And yes, BRING BACK THE FREEDOM AMP!
adumoParticipantI’ve run my acoustic through my Polychorus. It’s actually a great combo.
