A few years back I was also trying to get a hold of a vintage Polychorus. After months of trying to find a reasonably priced unit I gave up and bought the Stereo Polychorus (the modern version.) I have been very happy with the stereo Polychorus. It’s definitely one of my favorite pedals I own. Worth the $$$.

adumoParticipantMan, I can’t wait till this is released!
adumoParticipantSludge Metal, Grunge, Noise Rock, Acid Rock, Blues. My musical tastes range from the Velvet Underground to the Melvins.
adumoParticipantI recently got an AC adapter for my BMwTW. Previously I had been using batteries for it. The AC adapter is the way to go. It makes it sound like it has a brand new battery all the time. Very full sound.
adumoParticipantBoise, Idaho USA… LIVED HERE MY WHOLE LIFE!!!
adumoParticipantYeah, I actually prefer the Mxr Phase 90 over the Super Phaser. But, I use Flangers more than I do phasers. The Stereo Polychorus will always be my favorite!
adumoParticipantadumoParticipantYeah, I got my Big Muff Pi w/ Tone Wicker not too long ago myself… This thing is perfect for grunge! Heck, it’s perfect for just about any style that demands some nice dirty fuzz!
adumoParticipantYeah, I think the middle position and the neck positions are my favorites. I’m gonna’ keep experimenting.

They are both very different! The russian one has a darker sound with less sustain. The Tone Wicker version has a brighter sound with way more sustain. I actually prefer the Big Muff Pi with Tone Wicker over the Russian version. It has SOOO much more fuzz! It also looks cooler!
adumoParticipantQuote:are you sure you even had the swine flu?Yeah, I went into the doctor and got it tested… Came back positive. Plus I already had my seasonal flu vaccine a few weeks prior to this, so it was obvious what it was.
adumoParticipantYeah, I had the Swine Flu about a month ago. It’s really not that bad. It only lasted around 3 or 4 days. The 100 degree (F) fever was the worst part.
adumoParticipantCheck out the Stereo Polychorus (Highly Recommended), Frequency Analyzer, Micro Synth… Right now I’m getting a Mxr Script Phase 90 with LED. I was really sad when EHX stopped making the big box Small Stone.
