Yes, they are only marked with 3102 EM. I think that could just be the date code, but what would the transistor be?

I can’t believe that this thing would make it through QC with that kind of poor soldering job. It sounds awesome, I really like the absence of the preamp like the DMM and the fact that its true bypass. Thanks for the help!
71SmallboxParticipantThanks, I’ll hit all of the solder joints that look suspect.
71SmallboxParticipantHey Kitrae, I love your site BTW. The Carling switch was in it, if you look in the auction you’ll see the sticker I found in the chassis that had “39.98” which I took as the date code with the week code first.
71SmallboxParticipantI lowered it a bit.
71SmallboxParticipantThis is from 98, they only made the Big Box Black Muffs for 2 years from 1998-2000, same circuit as the green muff.
71SmallboxParticipantSo I have narrowed it down to early 1980, all of the pot codes and ic date codes are 79 and the newest are 198001, first week of 1980.
71SmallboxParticipantAwesome, Thanks!
This pedal sounds so much cooler than my reissue, it must be those proprietary chips! -
