Hi there all! New to the forum here and long time lover of EHX gear. I’ve been searching for a pedal that closely replicates the opening riff tone of the Zappa song Apostrophe. It could’ve easily been his EWE pedal that was totally custom built and another buddy of mine said it was a multiplex pedal. Just trying to see which products are in the EHX line that could give me that tone. Thanks!
That is Frank and Jack Bruce (bass) playing together. Any pedal that does an octave down should cover it.
Yeah I knew jack was playing on the track. Just never knew how much of it was just frank or both of them together. So would a pedal like the POG work for that?
The POG would work but it would be overkill. The Micro-POG would work or even cheaper, the Octave Multiplexer.
