I’ve got an older sheet metal (classic chassis) The Worm that had something rattling inside it. When I opened it up to get that thing out, I noticed a small bolt to ground the circuit, but it wasn’t hooked up to anything. Should there be a ground wire there and where does is connect to? Also, would it help the massive hiss from the tremolo setting if it were hooked up?
Danke.
Probably won’t make much of a difference on noise. There’s a ground wire that connects to the back plate and to the side of the chassis where the transformer may or may not be mounted. Both ends are attached using bolts.
