    At least once a week I revisit this forum to see if there are any new 2880 XO rumors! There is a growing, worldwide interest in looping that a new 2880 would make a splash in. It doesn’t need a complete change to be a hit. Change over to the XO enclosure, change CF card to SD (and/or change the USB port to a mini USB), possibly change in & out to trs to save space and stereo users can use y adapters, absolutely keep all MIDI implementation of the 2880, including in AND out ports, make sure the midi quantization is rock solid, and enjoy a mega hit.

    having an option to link/unlink loop lengths would be top on the list (having the ability to use the 2880 as is now with a fixed/same loop length on each track, or hit a button to have 4 independent length loops) seems like it would open up a lot of possibilities for atmospheric/abstract layering
