I have humbuckers on both my Ibanez guitars. When I use the gain channel of my amp there is fuzzy noise depending on how high the gain, volume and tone is set. Will the hum debugger help? Or is it designed exclusively for single coils? Has anyone had success using it on humbuckers?
Hi there,
I’d also really really appreciate if anyone could tell me whether or not the hum debugger works with humbuckers?
Cheers,
Joe
I have it in my chain, and it reduces noise on my Strat (when it is set to the bridge amd neck pickups), but makes no difference on my Les Paul. But I get no noise on my LP to begin with.
Set the amp to the clean channel and use a big muff with new cables and see what happens.
actually, it does reduce noise when I play the LP through a Big Muff.
