    And will it still be smooth (with no gaps in the heel or toe positions) over the entire range of the pedal? Thanks for any help.

    EHX typically uses 10K expression pedals, although I’m not sure about the Riddle in particular. Using the 50K expression pedal won’t hurt anything, but you’d only have about 40% of the sweep doing anything. You could always make a step down adapter, if you’re handy with a soldering iron.

    Thanks Cryabetes. I contacted Ehx to make sure and the Riddle is 10k. In fact I was told a 10k pot expression pedal is the standard for all Ehx pedals, just as you posted. :)
