Seriously? Wtf was EHX thinking when they designed the footpedal. The worst part is that probably a lot of you think they designed is perfectly or whatever.
If you’re wondering what I’m talking about is the insainly stupid choice to put the “new loop” pot switch button on the pedal on the buttom right and the harder to reach (and subesequently used far less since it’s harder to reach new track, and you you wan’t to erase your current loop(s)/jam, destryoing them by accidently hitting “new loop” on the bottom left. I mean, seriously, where worse a place and/or (arguably) even how that footswitch was made.
Anyone ever lost a killer song because you hit the conveniently placed track switch with new loop?
I dont care if I get flame for this, this issue definately needs to be fixed on the pedals and would be very easy to fix..just reserver is at the factory and re-calibrate that part(s) of the painting machine to lable it right.
Ok, whatever, just was checking on my own thread and was seeing was other radom EHX-peeps are up too.
you can always open it up, and swap the switches, so new loop would be above track select. You can always be nice also
or just place the footswitch in front of you upside down.
nah then you can’t get at the play/record buttons. i’ve started playing with one bare foot so i can putz with the sliders/buttons [track select, new loop] without worrying about stomping on them (and then I use the foot controller with the in-shoe foot).
