I bought this unit a few months ago USED from a friend. I tried removing the screws to access the battery but they will not budge. Today I finally observed some kind of white paste in between the crevice of the back plate and main chassis. What is it and why would EHX do this to a pedal? Maybe they do it to floor models or demo units? Can anyone confirm this?
Maybe your friend did it?
I just talked to him and he said he bought it from Guitar Center, possibly a floor model.
It makes no sense for anyone to glue it on. I could see EHX doing it for a show model, but even still that’s what the screws are there for…
They definitely didn’t do that. I’d blame Guitar Center.
Use a razor and try to remove the white glue stuff.
Oh, and EHX wouldn’t do that to a pedal.
It’s never coming off.
Oh well it still works with a 9v :rawk:
Disgruntled GC employee?
Never seen that, and I feel sure EHX didn’t do that. That’s not on my Stereo Pulsar.
no, never seen that before….maybe he messed the screws up and decided to glue it on??
