I was wondering if the EHX White Finger would be a good compressor for voice.

I’m looking for a stompbox that would be used for the screamer in my band.

He does low-end growl and some more high pitch scream.

The thing is I would like to help him specially with his low end growl because they are lower in level.

So I could boost his voice for those lower parts and keep the louder part into a certain headroom with the compressor.

It would be use for live and kept on at all time and maybe used in recording too.
