I use the Truetone 1 Spot to pedal my FX.
I notice a high-pitched ‘whistling’ when I connect it to the Lester G.
The whistling is present even when the Lester G is ‘off’.
The whistling is more noticeable when I actually engage the Lester G.
1 Spot specs:
The 1 SPOT is the original 9V DC adapter has the ability to handle up to 1700mA, the 1 SPOT can power your entire pedalboard.
Lester G: The LESTER G requires 100mA at 9VDC with a center-negative plug.
(Lester G behaves quite nicely when using EH 9V adapter….no issues whatsoever.)
Is it not compatible with the 1 Spot?
Thanks!
No, the one spot does not have isolated outs for all pedals and is the source of the noise.
The fix is use our supply or you will need a Diago isolator adapter.
Sorry the one spot is a cheap supply and causes noise with many companies pedals.
We are working on adapting to this cheap unit but for now best bet is to use our supply or the adapter.
“We are working on adapting to this cheap unit….”
HAHAHAHA!!!
I hear ya………thanks for the reply….and the laugh.

Msmith Thanks
We are working on it and I am sorry.
Thanks for your understanding!
In the mean time I will do a video showing the Diago adapter to kill the noise with non isolated supplies.

Can the Lester k be powered by the voodoo power two plus?
Sorry I am not familiar with that supply.
the techs may know at:
info@ehx.com
Or the people that make the supply.
The Lester needs 9 volts/200ma and plug is center negative.
Just got my Lester K and have been using the One Spot but I have the same whistle noise. I would love to have just one power supply as this is my set up fast, play and get the hell out of the way pedal board. Any suggestions?
Forgot to mention that the Diago is not available, at least on Reverb.
You need to use a power supply with isolated outputs or use the EHX supply. These cheaper supply’s are not isolated and cause noise.
