    hey I’m living in ireland and looking to buy a rusian muff.
    can’t seem to find one in any shops or online (thomann.de)
    Am i wrong in thinking that reissues are being sold of these?

    any idea where I can find one
    I’m actually going to russia in a few weeks.

    They’re not available new in the EU due to their non-ROHs compliance (not lead-free). You’ll have to either find a used one or have a new one shipped from the states.
    If you’re going to Russia maybe you can look up the factory and get one.

    it says postage to the UK, but i’m sure they would send it to Ireland too if you asked (presuming you aren’t in the north)

    they do pop up now and again, unfortunatly because they are hard to get hold of over here they usually go for around the same price as a brand new Big Muff Tone/Wicker, so you might feel it isn’t worth it.

    I too am browsing Ebay and other places trying to find myself a russian muff. Difficult to find, but worth it, so i’m told.

    You can find http://www.proguitarshop.com they send europe.

    I think i bought mine about a month ago.
    (i live in Izmir,Turkey)

    hi, i’m from russia and ordered my big muff russian from the United States, because here in russia, they are not sold. they production was closed in 2006.

    that goes without saying, i’d imagine :)

    I’ve seen quite a few pop up on ebay, but i can’t order off the net (i don’t know why, something to do with my bank account), so the only way i’m gonna find one is to see if one turns up in a music shop anywhere or anything like that.
