    Can anyone help me figure out a time period from which my Dunlop JH-1S Jimi Hendrix Special Wah came from?
    The serial # is AA-05W502.

    I’m not 100% sure, but I seem to remember they came out in the late 90’s……97-98 maybe? so no earlier than that..

    …and the new hendrix wah came out a year ago maybe?

    so between 97 and 2007 I’d say!!!

    Well I pretty sure mine is from the 90’s then because it doesnt have the battery cover on the bottom, you just have to unscrew the back plate.

    yeah, I couldn’t say for sure…I’m no expert on wah’s…

    …I have a Vox V847 USA model with revision ‘B’ on the circuit board, I have no idea how old mine is either, I don’t even know when they moved production out of the US.

    Hmmm…that would be interesting to find out. Truth is, I can only mod/repair wah’s – other than that, I can’t say much about them.

    I actually emailed a guy at Dunlop and he said its from the late 80’s or early 90’s
