Don’t know anything about unused songs, but Rain Dogs is a classic, perhaps the widest range of styles on a TW album – from blues to polka to rock to pop ballad (in a good way) to gospel to completely crazy things.
And Bone Machine is soooo dark. I love itThis is sort of off topic, but how is Fight Club? I’ve read the book but havent seent the movie yet.

“Oh neat, you’ve got some really good taste! I’ve never met anyone who likes such different styles of… Oh, you like Steely Dan?”
Every single time.

February 20, 2009 at 8:30 pm #93727GoldengloveMemberJust want to say thanks to electro-melx for telling me about Swervedriver – they’re indescribably awesome. I now listen to a lot of Mogwai, Sonic Youth and Boris too.
Btw, melx, did you listen to those TW albums?February 21, 2009 at 2:26 pm #93760BlueSteelParticipantQuote:That’s the first song I heard of his stuff, in Fight Club. February 28, 2009 at 10:02 pm #94061SiriustarMemberLet’s see, right now I suppose my top 5 (not necessarily in this order) would be:
1. Tower of Rome
2. Deerhoof
3. Duke Ellington
4. M. Ward
5. Regina SpektorI know it might seems like I’m just choosing these artists because they’re so mismatched, and I want to appear eclectic, but that’s not the case, I assure you.
