May 3, 2010 at 3:45 pm #90513The Ghost of Sim TutMemberGood stuff man. Well recorded too. I’ve heard other stuff of yours posted on here before but I listened to the first two now. Every Door is a great song, please accept my compliments.
Every so often I see a ‘Post your music’ thread but I wonder if people are really checking out all the cool music that isn’t totally jammed down their throats. This is not an indictment against pop or commercial music at all. “Single Ladies” has been playing constantly in my head jukebox since I heard it two years ago, but there are way better songs that we never hear. Worse, there are great songs that we do hear because of communities like this, and still don’t pay attention. So pay attention! Fender&EHX4ever;has good tunes. Julian has some really cool noise punk with one of his projects, and alot of you have good music that should be heard too. Take 4 minutes and listen to something new, and post your own stuff. Don’t be shy.
On that subject, here’s one of my projects, The Killyous http://www.myspace.com/thekillyous. I play bass and sing here. Band is inactive now because I moved but those are my brothers and I like the songs we recorded. On “Dynamito” I did the spoken part from BoyzIIMen’s End of the Road because they had that part in all their songs and it always cracked me up because they were so sincere. Can’t always be too serious. If you can’t find the humor in your music somebody else will. Rudely.
