    Sup everyone,

Recently I had bought a metal muff and I am loving it :). Can get a wide variety of tones with the pedal, so I decided is time to get a new one but I am not sure which one to get.

I mostly play metal but I like to experiment with all kinds of music. Is there any pedal that you highly recommend to have fun with? :D

Any suggestions or comments are welcome!

although i dont own one i;ve seen clips of lots of cool sounds you can get from the Flanger Hoax, apparently takes a little getting used to but with patience loads of sounds on tap!

Oh, definetly the Flanger Hoax. I’ve got one and it’s crazy. you could get any flanging or phasing sounds. It does take a while to figure out all the knobs and what they do, but once you figure it out, its loads of fun. And try combining it with other pedals, it makes it sound even cooler. I strongly recommend getting one if your into getting crazy and unique sounds with a pedal.

Depends on your price range- Big Muff with Tone Wicker, Frequency Analyzer, Stereo Memory Man With Hazarai, or the HOG. All awesome.

Yep, the Hoax is great for metal, and other genres as well. It’ll make yer high gain leads burn like a comet.

Get the classic small stone before they are all gone. (sigh)

Polychorus. Pairs nicely with a Metal Muff for leads AND sounds gorgeous on clean passages.

“But John, I don’t play clean bits!”
    “Buy a Polychorus, you will.”

There are settings that actually sound like two guitars playing unison, something I’ve never experienced from a chorus pedal before (I know that’s what they’re meant to do but they always sound like chorus pedals to me). And it self-oscillates!

maybe a stereo electric mistress? chorus and flanger…will also do fixed flanger sounds that would be great for solo’s.
