i love that les paul, it looks awesome!

Yeah, it’s a funky piece of dry wood. Great pickups, and very comfortable to play.

BTW, check out my band on MySpace (click on the link in my signature). I used the Les Paul for both songs playing on our page right now. ‘Too Much Room’ has that guitar all over it and the solo in ‘Oceanbound’ is also the LP.

your band is pretty good :thumb:

My first guitar was a Czech made Jolana which I still have.

hehe, great… unfortunately i’m probably the only czech here, so no celebrations :D

you guys got some badass guitars… damn i should take a deep breath, stop thinkin’ about pedals, find myself a part-time job and make myself some money for the deluxe mexican strat i want…

at least i don’t spent all the money for my pedals… i bought me and my girlfriend tickets for the Australian Pink Floyd, we’re gonna see them for the second time, they are awesome…

when i get some new guitar, you’re gonna know it… well, soon :)

Thanks for the compliments. I’ve owned the Jolana since 1985, a gift given to me from my parents for my 12th birthday. As a kid growing up in Poland, there really wasn’t much of a choice in quality made electric guitars. USA made guitars were far out of my reach because of their expense and rarity. Out of all the Eastern European made guitars, I found the Jolana I acquired sufficiently well made, albeit quirky, but serviceable. I take it out on occasion for fun.

My favorite out of the whole lot, is my ES-335. Most people bust on Norlin era made guitars. My ’73 335 however is a superb guitar with a slim, sleek and sublimely comfortable neck that fits in my left hand like a glove. The patent number pickups sound terrific, especially the neck pickup which delivers all the right woody warmth and soft, jazzy vibes. The bridge pickup has all the raunch, compression, and soulfullness I could ever want from a 335. Even with a Bigsby, the guitar weighs in under 8lbs. I use this guitar for everything and it offers heaps of potential from just being a blues or jazz instrument. It happens to be my most versatile guitar.

    Hmm… Where to start…

    – Fender Strat MIJ w/ Humbucker and Eric Clapton crash 3 paint job
    – Fender Strat MIM w/ Lace Sensor Golds, Mid Boost circuit and Eric Clapton crash 1 paint job (basically, an EC replica)
    – Fender Fat Strat MIM
    – Fender Strat MIA w/ custom multicolored paint job
    – Another Fender Strat MIA (though I’m not entirely convinced that it is because the bridge is an import spec bridge and there’s a small gap the neck and body in the neck pocket)
    – Fender Tele MIM
    – Fender Precision Bass
    – Epiphone Les Paul
    – Gibson Les Paul w/ mini humbuckers
    – Gretsch Electromatic
    – Godin SDxt
    – Memphis unknown model (was my very first electric guitar which still works and actually sounds decent)
    – Ovation Celebrity Deluxe 6 string
    – Ovation Celebrity Deluxe 12 string
    – Mann Acoustic (the beater guitar)
    – Segovia Classical Acoustic/Electric
    – Harmony Jumbo Acoustic

the neck on the iceman is temporary, until i get the neck i made for it finished, it will be about 2 weeks, it will look similar to an original, 3 left, 3 right tuners but shaped slightly different.
