hey, do you know anyone else that is similar to Elliott’s like “style” as his earlier albums? i’m getting really interested in that softer, sad acoustic music like his, but dont know any other people similar to him and no one i know listens to him so they cant help me.

I don’t know if they’re similar per se but you would probably like Neutral Milk Hotel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iipO9Tvk1EI, Nick Drake http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2JjJPDz3EE, and the wonderfully amazing Jeff Buckley http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXe1jpHPnUs. This one is really not similar, but check out Jim O’Rourke’s “Insignificance” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Xg485C7Ej8 because he is a one time member of sonic youth and often a noise guy (what I usually like) but that album is awesomely fuzzy pop that I just eat up.
