My daughter Aziza, lead guitarist for band TOY SUGAR is using a 1966 Blackface Fender Pro Reverb with a 1974 Strat. TOY SUGAR is 4- 16 year old girls who work really hard to write, perfect and perform their original music, they have played most recently The Knitting Factory Brooklyn 2 weekends in a row in December and will be at The Mercury Lounge Feb 10th opening for Titus Andronicus. Please friend them on FB under TOY SUGAR and see pic of them with their newest fan JOAN JETT!!
By the way out of the dozens of pedals demo’d she prefers Electro Harmonix over everything else.

Almost seamless.I don’t look at it like an ad being that we’re not selling anything, just looking for support from the music community for a group of hardworking and very talented 16 year old NYC girls
January 13, 2011 at 6:54 pm #113704Mr.GrimMemberI have to add that…”toy sugar” is a very horrible name for sum young girls!!…..sure it sounds good…but only info a dirty way!! Why would a 16yo’s father support that!?!?!?

May 5, 2013 at 3:41 am #119029JACSTRATMemberI have 11 of them. They are mostly lower watt ones. They are mostly tube but, I do have two solid state ones. I have Fender, Marshall, Vox, Sunn and one Blackstar. I love amps and guitars.

This is my main rig I use mostly on the clean channel with my EHX LIttle Big Muff and a Digitech Bad Monkey for distortion and overdrive. Though when I go really heavy the amp by itself delivers this in spades!Fender Mustang III
This is my practice amp, great versatile amps these things!August 22, 2013 at 10:15 pm #119326JACSTRATMemberNovember 7, 2013 at 3:41 am #119484theonetruestickmanMemberNobody else here uses an EHX 44 Magnum?

March 28, 2014 at 10:52 am #119807Muff DiverMemberI currently have an old Marshall JCM 800 4210 combo, an old Marshall JCM 800 4001 Studio 15 combo, a Fender Mustang and a Vox Valvetronix VT+.
August 19, 2015 at 10:19 pm #120858Kevy MetalMemberI’m currently using a Hotone Mojo Diamond 5 watt head and cabinet. It’s small, but it finally gives me the round and clear clean tones I’d been lacking. Pairs nicely with my Nano Double Muff and OD Glove pedals and can plug into cabinets from 4-16Ω. Perfect size for where I’m living right now.
August 21, 2015 at 9:38 am #120860Muff DiverMemberI’ve recently added a little Marshall MG10CD for noodling in the bedroom. I’m also currently looking at some type of Laney, but haven’t bitten the bullet quite yet.
August 21, 2015 at 4:59 pm #120863Kevy MetalMemberAfter my initial post, I had to think back to the amps I’ve owned and parted with over the years:
– a couple of Peaveys (Bandit, Classic 50, VTM 60)
– Roland Jazz Chorus
– Line 6 Spider II 112With my earlier amps, I simply didn’t know what I wanted other than something “heavy” or “crunchy”. Odd as it may seem, it really took this long to find the right amp and tones. My playing style has always been there, I just couldn’t get the sounds out there until now.
