Hello, I’ve always used 9 volts and am now looking into powering my ehx pedals.
I am worried about frying them or damaging them somehow. All of the warnings on the instructions say if you don’t use this and that factory power supply, you may damage the pedal. Am I taking this too seriously? I also don’t want hum.
I don’t know much about this, with the power draw etc. But my pedals are: LPB-1, Q-Tron Micro, Neo Clone. Would a 1 spot work for all these or do I need a more complex solution? I’ve been thinking of getting a surge protector and using it to plug in all these wall wart power supplies, but I’d rather not do that.
The 1Spot will do a total of 1700 mA. You should be fine powering those pedals from a 1Spot. Just make sure the polarity is correct. I use a Dunlop DC brick, which only does 1000 mA, and I’m powering more then you are. My general rule of thumb is to power digital pedals individually with their wall warts, and my analogue pedals with the Brick. Of course, YMMV.
Hope that helps.

you should be fine with that. and I haven’t heard any reports of hum with any of the pedals you listed. Let us know if there are any issues though.
Interesting, that’s the best solution, thanks.
