    I posted awhile back of how ridiculously long my signal-chain was. I believe the pedal-count was up to thirteen on one pedal-board. This, has been simplified.

    By putting all the tail-end effects in the effects-loop of my Fender JazzKing, it really cleans up my signal overall. What I wanted to do is find a way to only use my sonic maximizer but to be able to split my signal into stereo. Next, I am going to explain how I did my rig.

    This is my effects chain in front of the amp: Boss LS-2 (My guitar is in the input and a Boss DR-880 Drum Machine is in one of the two effects loops) -> EHX Black Finger -> LPB -> Q-Tron+ -> EHX Signal Pad -> [Digitech(Hardwire) 1Tube->2Valve->3Metal] -> Bad Horsie II -> EHX GraphicFuzz -> BBE Sonic Stomp

    In the effects loop of my Fender JazzKing: [Amp Send] Boss Phaser -> MXR Wylde Chorus -> MXR Carbon Copy (For a slapback) -> EHX DXMB (For long delays) -> Digitech(Hardwire) Reverb -> Line6 Delay Modeler (Which I use mostly for looping, but with stereo outputs, I can utilize the unique stereo delays on this unit) [Output Left goes to Amp Return and Output Right goes to a small practice combo amp]

    My question is: Is this signal routing safe for both amps? I’m basically splitting my signal into stereo in the preamp of my amp. It sounds amazing to use stereo delays, but I wanna know if it’s safe to use both amps like this.

    Just to make sure I got this right the only stereo effect is the Line 6 at the end of the effects loop chain? Correct?

    There really is nothing unsafe about this set up, it should work totally fine. You may, on occasion, have a ground loop between the two amps through the Line 6 pedal which will sound like some really loud hum. If this occurs, try lifting ground on one of the amps and you should be fine. Some amps have a ground lift on the back of the amp or you could use a 3-prong to 2-prong AC inlet converter, which you can get from any hardware store for like $1.00.

    from the reverb pedal into the Line6, it’s output into the Line6 that is, is stereo: left and right from reverb into left and right L6 Delay. Thanks for the input. I would never use this setup live…too ridiculous. Probably a studio setup I wouldn’t mind trying out. Of course, I would use a better second amp instead of a practice amp.
