    I am looking for a pedal that will give me a boost in volume but will not affect my tone. Basically for when I do solos, some are played clean and some with distortion. I am not familiar with boost pedals or volume pedals and I am not sure which would be the best way to go. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    maybe try an LPB-1 , but you cant go over 50% on the dial, because then it will start to add a little OD, i use one to boost, but its all a preference of personal taste.

    that was 1 of the pedals I was looking at. seems pretty decent for the price
