It would be really cool to have reverb,delay, distortion stompboxes for the voice !
With a XLR input/output and expression pedal for mix/speed/depth…

Pleaaaase !

XLR jacks take up a lot of space. I could see them fitting them in Little Big Muff enclosures, but nano enclosures would be a tight fit.

just use normal effects and an XLR to 1/4″ TS adapter (or sends and returns on the mixer but that’s a little more challenging in a live setting)

Of course but they do for the iron lung…

But I’ll try on my stompboxes with an adapter.
