Just bring it back to the shop if the product doesn’t do what you expect it too..

one thing I have noticed is you have to sing on tune, and cannot float from one harmony to the other or it won’t track that well. You have to sing your part right, and do it immediately. It’s not a perfect unit so it takes some discipline to get it to sound right. The better and more precise you play/sing, the better it will sound. It’s not a forgiving unit but it’s still not something I want to take off my board either.

It arrived this morning! It’s awesome! I made this just now so you can hear what it sounds like.

Starts with a clean verse, then a wet chorus, the harmonies have REAL impact, really love it.

I front a three piece electro rock band (The Ghost Machina) where I perform 100% of the lead vocals using the Voice Box in vocoder mode. Before getting the VB I was using vocoder plug ins from anyone I could find. I was constantly tweaking and changing it, trying to find that ‘it’ sound. I bought the VB blind, paid cash. Brought it home, plugged it in, and haven’t tweaked my settings since (almost a year now!). Now, I constantly get compliments on how good the vocoder sounds, even when people don’t understand what a vocoder is! The VB defines The Ghost Machina as a band. I could not perform without it. Album out in April, demo vids of the VB, and all the other EHX stuff I used (a lot) coming shortly after:)
