Is there a vocal pedal that has the same sound as the Satisfaction guitar pedal? I love the sound of it, but when using it on vocals it goes to feedback pretty quickly with only a very small amount of attack used on the attack knob, and any less and you can’t hardly hear it at all. Volume knob doesn’t help either really. So yeah, question is: is there a vocal pedal with that same crisp Satisfaction distortion sound? Hopefully with knobs that can bring down some elements of the attack that are the cause of feedback?

That is a pretty raspy fuzz for vocals and a fuzz with an open mic is very hard to do with out feedback.
Take a look at the Overlord OD. That even has a dry mix so you can add just a bit of natural vocals. And it has a super wide input range and distortion range.

Ok thanks for the tip. I tried the Overlord and it doesn’t have much distortion sound to it compared to the Satisfaction. I really love the rasp, the rasp is the best part and makes my voice sound cool. I wish there was a drive or gain knob, so that I can keep the raspy sound but lower the over powering that’s resulting in feedback on my vocals. Is there a way to jimmy rig this pedal to reduce the gain/drive at all? Obviously all warranties etc. would be voided, but it would be worth it if I could keep the sound and nix the feedback issues. Or could I send it in to EHX and have you guys add a drive/gain knob?

No sorry we do not mod or approve mods due to warranty issues.

Ok thanks, so you don’t approve of it nor would you do it, but can you tell me if outside of your doing it or approving it if its possible to achieve that with the circuitry setup? Can I somehow keep the raspy sound and still keep the volume of everything else in my line, but lower the drive for this pedal somehow?
