Hello everybody, new here on the forum and must say I’m a big (vintage) Ehx fan!
Recently bought this dream pedal and after having lot of fun and trying stuff out I run into some problems….
The pedal worked fine, only thing I noticed that it had a very low output compared to other vintage drum pedals I own. Dont know if this is normal?
Then I wanted more and use the clock in and connect to clock outs like my 16 second delay but didnt work. No movement in the sequence once I put a cable into the clock in jack. I noticed when adding voltage’s I could move the sequence, and then it happened I added to much voltage (9volt) and the sequencer was gone!
Now the pedal makes sound on the first step only. When I power it up it sometimes the light of the 7th or 8th step are lit but after trigering it it stay on 1. I dont have much experience in repairing pedals but managed to get some working by swapping IC’s and OPamps and have basic skills with my multi meter.
Tried to swap the 4013 & 4015 but with no succes, most voltage’s seem correct at first.
Any tips or advice to make this dream pedal shine in its full glory and all 8 steps?
